We are calling a weekend of prayer, something we have not done whilst Julian has been leading the City Mission, and we are asking all supporters to commit to pray. We are holding this special weekend of prayer on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd April. We would love you to pray for the City Mission either individually or in a group, at home or church, at some point during the weekend.
2017 finished very positively, however, so far this year the finances have taken a big hit, with donations falling far below what we need to see to stay committed to our current growth.
We feel God has led us to stand with the church, to commit to train, equip, and support the body of Christ to reach this city. Please stand with us and pray for these 3 areas:
- Our 10 staff and 54 volunteers and many churches who work with us to run our head office and 3 vital teams.
- Our financial stability and an increase of giving from individuals, churches, trusts, and legacies.
- Our plans for future growth and new building as we seek new ways to serve this city, with the church, for Christ.
We are very aware of, and thankful for, those of you who give so sacrificially already. It may not be possible for you to give at this time, however if you feel led please get in touch.
We hope that you join us on the 21st or 22nd April as an individual, house group, or church to refocus our eyes on Jesus.
